8 Achievable Goals To Set Yourself In 2018

I know we’re well into the new year now, but there’s still time to set yourself goals, plan your year out and pack it full of exciting things to experience. With so many possibilities it can be difficult to know what to choose to do, and if you’re on a budget then this can become an even harder choice. Here are some achievable goals to set yourself this year.

Go for the promotion at work

It will give you the chance to earn more money and take your career further. Also, promotions often open up even more perks of the job too. Keep your head down at work and show your boss that you’re worthy of the promotion!

See family and friends more

There’s nothing worse than feeling disconnected from everyone in your life, and even though true family and friends stick together no matter what, it’s always better when you see them more often. Get the girls round as often as possible, and see your family in your free time. 

Take an awesome holiday

Okay, so this one might not be great for those who are strapped for cash, but if you use the right techniques for saving you could still make it work. Family ski holidays are a fabulous idea for those looking to spend more time with their family and friends, and skiing makes for an epic holiday too!

Get fit

There’s no better time than now to improve your health and become the fittest that you can be. Your body will only thank you and you can also flaunt your healthy body with pride.

Give back to the community

There’s something really magical about helping someone that’s in need. Imagine being in that position and longing for just a little bit of help to get you on the right track. There’s plenty of ways in which you could volunteer from caring for elderly, helping out at homeless shelters and much more.

Take time for yourself

While seeing and helping others is a great thing to do, don’t forget to take time for yourself to relax and unwind. Letting things get on top of you won’t help any situation. Meditation is a great way of releasing stresses, and there’s no right or wrong way of doing it so why not give it a go?

Try something new

This could literally be anything that you want to try. Push yourself to the limit as much as you can and find a new release in your life. Many people choose to take up a new hobby and find that it’s a great addition to their lives.

Smile more

With all of the bad news that we see daily, and personal problems in our own lives it can be hard to remember to smile. Smiling instantly makes you feel better and has been proven to improve mood. Smile and the word will smile back at you, right?
